Sarasbaug – where else you can find such a huge number of birds? Sources reveal that the word Saras, having its origin in Samskrita, means river or lake. As per some other references, Saras is the Hindi word for Crane or Stork. For our confusion, this baug (garden)-Sarabaug has a lake and is a destination of countless birds too!
Whatever may be the reason for the name ‘Sarasbaug’, it is a wonderful garden to visit.
