Slug – An Unwanted Guest of Monsoon

That rainy day, my Appa spotted a slug and showed it to me. Ah! It is not that he thinks I haven’t seen a slug till then 😀 but, probably he had noticed me out in the garden with the camera looking to capture some interesting happenings in the nature.
Slug - an unwanted guest of monsoon

I watched the slug that was moving and took some videos.

Suddenly, something sounded really amazing! That ‘something’ has never been noticed by me till then probably. Actually, the slug uses its muscles along the bottom part of its body to create motion. Here, the slug is moving yet its body seems still! I felt wonderful about the muscles slugs have! Nature’s every creation is incredible, isn’t it?

Life is very strange… Sometimes it appears to have paused… But, in reality, it is still moving and we don’t realise that it is moving…
Past couple of months have been quite busy months… I had been to native at the end of May. Three weeks flew enjoying with my very naughty nephew who is recently promoted as ‘elder brother’ and with the new family member – my cute little niece. Some personal responsibilities and many offline works I was engaged with later didn’t spare time to connect with you all…
When I was thinking of talking to you and sharing what is going on here, what came to my mind was this slug in motion. It appeared so close to my situation. There are some changes happening in my life that may not be noticeable right now. So, I will let you know when the time is right. Then, how are you?

  7. Wonderful description of the slug. I see them almost all day whenever it rains here and it becomes a great issue walking on pathways as great care should be taken not to step on them.
