Lord Ganesha – Pen Drawing

Lord Ganesha - Pen Drawing inspired by Zentangle Art

A pen drawing of Lord Ganesh on Sankashti Chaturti (fourth day of waning phase) of Bhadrapada maasa. I love drawing Lord Ganesha and have drawn him many times having some reference in front. Some of them have been published here, here and here
By God’s grace, I have been reproducing almost any kind of pencil arts including portraits fairly satisfactorily. But, I have been questioning myself, if I can draw something of my own. It is my desire to create something my own. It was a month before Ganesh Chaturti of last year, I sketched the outline of this Lord Ganesha by imagination. I could not finalise the presentation. Many time I looked at it but, I was being blank.
Lately I got to know about Zentangle Art. I madly fell in love with Zentangle. Zentangle inspired me to present my first own creation of Lord Ganesha. I would say, I should not be too hard on myself even though I am not really very happy with the outcome. Finally, the arts are showing mercy on me!
