Ah! One month later I am posting this quick pencil sketch of feather!
Its been almost 4weeks since I posted in TAAM. I was in a mood to be with me, just taking time to get back to my routine. I was forced to be regularly posting in my fashion blog – Tantu so as to fulfill the requests of the readers. I believe, a word written should be from within not just from the fingertips! So, I took time to post here. After all, I should value your time, dear TAAM visitor!
An artist can be more creative only when he/she observes his/her surroundings with open mind, open heart and open eyes. Please excuse me for any without post day. Because, I wish to share the best, when you spare the best part of your life with TAAM, i.e., your precious time!
ಹೌದು! ಬರೆದು ಬಹಳ ದಿನಗಳಾದವು. ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಕೂಡ ಕೆಲವೊಮ್ಮೆ ತುಂಬಾ ಯಾಂತ್ರಿಕವೆನಿಸತೊಡಗಿದಾಗ ಒಂದು ವಿರಾಮ ಬೇಕೆನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನನಗೂ ಅದೇ ಆದದ್ದು.
ಒಂದು ರಾಶಿ ಫೋಟೋ ಗಳು ತಿದ್ದಿ ತೀಡಿ ಒಪ್ಪಗೊಳ್ಳಲೆಂದು ಕಾದು ಕೂತಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಇದ್ದಿಲುಕಡ್ಡಿ – ಕುಂಚಗಳು – ಬಣ್ಣಗಳು ಖಾಲಿ ಹಾಳೆಗಳ ತುಂಬುವ ಕನಸು ಹೊತ್ತು ನನ್ನತ್ತ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಕಪಾಟು ತುಂಬಾ ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನೋದುವ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯ ಹೃದಯದೊಳಕ್ಕೋ ಮಸ್ತಿಶ್ಕದೊಳಕ್ಕೋ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ತುಂಬಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಆತುರದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ, ವಸ್ತ್ರ-ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮಣಿಸರಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸುಹೊಕ್ಕ ವರ್ಣತಂತುಗಳು ಹೊಸತೊಂದು ಆಯಾಮವನ್ನೇ ಹೊಂದುವ ಅಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗ ಏನ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಮನಸು ಸ್ತಬ್ದವಾಗಿ ತುಸು ಧ್ಯಾನ ಬಯಸುತ್ತದೆ, ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಳೆದು ಬೆಳಕು ಮೂಡುವಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಇಡೀ ಪ್ರಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸಹುರುಪು ತುಂಬಿಕೊಂಡಂತೆ!
ಅರೆಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಬರೆದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಕೊಡಲು ಅಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎನಿಸಿತು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇಷ್ಟು ದಿನ ಸುಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದೆ. ಇಂದು ನಾನು ತಯಾರಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದೆನಿಸಿತು, ಹಗುರವಾದ ಮನಸಿನಂತೆ ಇರುವ ಈ ಗರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮರಳಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ! ಈ ಅಂಚೆ ನಿಮಗಿಷ್ಟವಾದರೆ ಸಾರ್ಥಕ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ !
I haven't tried birds yet as feathers intrigue me…:)

Yes,really after a long time, was checking TAAM after every alternate day .Amazing sketch of feather. 🙂 I loved it. To me it is also giving illusion of elephant.
