Butterfly & An Angel!

Butterfly - Imitation Latte Art
Butterfly – Imitation Latte Art
This is an imitation latte art of a butterfly. I always wished TAAM (The Arts & Me) blog to be colourful like a butterfly. I had chose a picture window template in the beginning. I wanted all the posts to be visible on the home page. Once I found the DV or the dynamic view template, I just loved it! Applied it and designed it following suggestion given in some blogs. Sorry, I had to remember who exactly had posted it.
TAAM deals with many forms of arts. So, I had set a custom menu. But, they were not visible in this template. When I switched back to picture window, they were appearing! I thought DV doesn’t support custom menu.
Months passed… I joined IndiBlogger. I found a fellow blogger(s), Farzana and Alisagar Mukhtiar having same template as mine in their blog. And the blog had menu! Hurray! Custom menu can be added to DV! I asked Alisagar Mukhtiyar how did they get it. They have followed same method as that of mine, but, I was the one not getting the result. πŸ™ πŸ™
As usual tried to find out a solution by surfing the internet. Then I found this awesome blog Southern Speakers by Yoga. It’s a very very useful blog for bloggers who don’t know to edit blogger template, like me. And I got many tips and codes to design TAAM, even to add a custom menu!
But, again it was the same method what I had already tried and what Mukhtiar couple suggested me. I had many pages menus in the widget list. So, I cleared all the menus. Tried again to add a pages menu, it showed – ‘Already added’ πŸ™
I thought of dropping a message to Yoga. Then, stopped for a while. Why not to give a last try? Went to add gadgets again, it showed that I had a pages menu already. Looked again into my gadget list. Finally, caught a pages menu just below the header. Why was it still not working? Clicked on that to see the contents. And closed. Saved everything. For my satisfaction, finally clicked to view the blog home page…
There it was! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Menu was visible on TAAM! πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ That was one of my happiest moment in my blogging. I made some other minor changes in the template too utilising Yoga’s tips. So, I dedicate today’s imitation latte arts to Yoga!
