Charlock Mustard

Charlock Mustard, a click in the autumn.

I thought Charlock Mustard is a weed. But, it is not!

Charlock Mustard is edible!

Charlock Mustard has a hot mustard flavour. Flowering bud stalk, surprisingly, has cabbage and raddish flavour! The leaves (raw or cooked), flower-bud stack (semi cooked), ground seed powder are used as food flavouring agents. Young leaves, flowers, sprouted seeds can be used in salads!

Useful Charlock Mustard Seed Oil

Seed oil is edible. It is also used in making soaps and lighting lamps.
